Jacek Kaspszyk conducts the Orquestra de València at Palau de la Musica

Jacek Kaspszyk will lead the Orquestra de València and the renowned Spanish cellist Damián Martínez at the city’s iconic Palau de la Musica, which is currently celebrating its 30th season since the opening in 1987. The concert on 9 June will feature Tchaikovky’s Rococo Variations Op. 33, Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite and Ravel’s La Valse.

Before Jacek Kaspszyk travels to Spain, he will close the 2016/17 season as Artistic Director of the Warsaw Philharmonic with two concerts on 2 and 3 June, featuring a ravishing programme of Elgar’s Cello Concerto and Mahler’s Das klagende Lied. Outstanding soloists, including cellist Johannes Moser, mezzo-soprano Vesselina Kasarova and tenor Markus Petsch will join the orchestra and its Artistic Director.
