Hugh Wolff returns to National Symphony Orchestra

Hugh Wolff returns to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the National Symphony Orchestra of Washington for three concerts featuring violinist Anne Akiko Meyers and Kennedy Center Composer-in-Residence Mason Bates. On 14 and 16 April, Hugh will conduct Barber's Overture to The School for Scandal, Mason Bates' Concerto for Violin and Ives' Symphony No. 2. Then, on 15 April, the orchestra present an all-Bates programme, featuring his works The Rise of Exotic Computing and Concerto for Violin The B-Sides. Part of the DECLASSIFIED series, DJ / composer Mason Bates brings the orchestra into the digital age in this immersive multimedia symphonic experience.
