Hugh Wolff returns to the Aspen Music Festival and School

Returning to the Aspen Music Festival on 6 July, Hugh Wolff will conduct the Aspen Philharmonic Orchestra at the Benedict Music Tent, joined by Aspen Music Festival School alumnus Blake Pouliot on violin. The programme features Antheil’s Archipelago, "Rhumba", Korngold’s Violin Concerto and Sibelius’ Symphony No. 1.

Hugh then returns to the Benedict Music Tent with the Aspen Festival Orchestra on 24 July, with Behzod Abduraimov on piano, for a performance of Argento’s Tango from The Dream of Valentino, Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 3 and Wagner’s Orchestral Selections from The Ring of the Nibelung.

In addition to these performances, Hugh has also been invited to teach the student conductors at the Aspen Conducting Academy on 11 to 20 July.
